  • Food was great, we enjoyed all of our various meals. The salsa with the chips was good. Several options in the kids menu as well that was nice. We did have someone order the special and it wasn't discounted on the check. Another couple in our party ordered the cheese dip...A small cheese dip on the menu was $4.99. she ordered a large knowing it would be a bit more. It ended up being $22!! Just an FYI.

  • This is a local Mexican restaurant. The food is not too bad. It could be better. It's hit-or-miss, to be honest with you. Sometimes you go there and the foods hot and fresh and the next time it seems like it comes out of a microwave. It's the only local Mexican restaurant we have. Prices aren't bad and the quantities are pretty good. There are a few servers there that are extremely friendly and a joy to be around. Fried ice cream is a hit!

  • This location is conveniently located off the main highway and close to several hotels and other eateries. I found the prices fairly standard and the food is tailored toward those north of the Mexican border. Personally I love to toggle between both styles; its quite tasty and the portions were large. The side tortillas were fresh and hot and complimented to food. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is vibrant and cozy...in ways its a little escape. On a Sunday evening I found this place was very busy. I certainly think its worth a stop.

  • I was actually quite surprised to find GOOD Mexican food this far north but I did! This place was slammed when we stopped by. I’ve never seen so many people and you could tell the waitstaff was struggling to keep up with so many people. Overall, it was good food at an unbelievably great price! Finally found a place that didn’t cost $50 for dinner for two. Salsa is really good. Chips were fresh. The only negative I really have was that I ordered sweet tea and it turned out to be that ‘Brisk’ tea out of a fountain. But hey, I’m happy to let that slide because overall the food was pretty good!

  • Been visiting this family restaurant for over a decade, and the food is always good! They have excellent Margaritas as well, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Probably the best family restaurant in PC/Catawba! Recommended Dishes: Casa Las Palmas Fajitas, Molcajete (both are fantastic), La Mejor

  • Simply amazing! Try the new Birra tacos the best I have had, not a drop of grease on them! Chicken soup is a must & perfect hangover killer, Chile verde is my favorite! Cheese dip all day yes please!!

  • Salsa had great flavor. Not to spicy n not too mild. We made up our own meal. Did not see ala cart on the menu but was able to order what we wanted. We had nachos with chicken and 4 beef tacos , two soft and two hard shell and a tamale. Tamale was pork n had really good flavor. As a FYI I am not Hispanic and don't eat really spicy food. I would definitely eat here again.
